Boomtown Cabernet, 2007

$14.99

Boomtown was created by Dusted Valley Vintners (winery of the year, wine press northwest) with the intent of creating a quality value-priced wine produced from 100% Walla Walla fruit.

A deep, garnet colored, fabulous pour. Dark, jammy fruit with hints of tobacco and smoke. This wine is incredibly well-balanced with silky tannins that linger. A smooth, easy-drinking everyday wine.

Intrigued? Stop by the bistro this Friday – this wine will be included in our Friday night lineup.

Laidia Bianco and La Aldea 2008

Casa Ventura Imports is one man’s dream and determination: a dream to find the best Spanish wines, and the determination to bring them to America.

My latest finds are two spanish wines from Casa Ventura Imports – a small, (spanish) family-owned wine importer based out of Bellingham Washington.

The incredible experience at such a value is what makes them intriguing. Both wines, from Jumilla, tantalize your palette for the surprising price of $8.99.

Laidia Bianco 2008

A blend of the local varietals; Macabeo and Verdejo. Unique aroma and balanced acidity expose flavors of crisp green apple and toasted bread, finishing with apricot and pear. Perfect for summer sipping, pairs well with cheese and fruit and light summer salads.

Experience these two fabulous wines during our tasting Friday night.
